Matthias Foremny conducts the Athens State Orchestra in a programme of Khachaturian and Rimsky-Korsakov. Stathis plays Jean-Pierre Rampal’s flute transcription of Khachaturian’s Violin Concerto, entering from the back of the hall with an improvisation.
